Job Description


As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driving Role in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment. This post is both armed and driving, requiring responsible handling of firearms and operation of vehicles as you conduct patrols and respond to incidents. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate protocols for armed personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
  • Maintain a visible presence at assigned posts, assisting with access control and monitoring entry points as required by site policies.
  • Monitor for security-related hazards and report observations according to established procedures.
  • Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and/or the public, addressing questions and concerns while upholding site regulations.
  • Document security-related activities, incidents, and/or observations in accordance with Allied Universal standards.

*Must have (No Exceptions): 

  • Active driver’s license 
  • Valid Florida Security License D License and G License

     and at least ONE of the following:

  • U.S. Military Service (DD214 Honorable Discharge); or
  • Police/Corrections Academy Certification (U.S. only with Certificate); or
  • Associate's Degree (60 College Credits on Official Transcripts
