What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and along the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance needs to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and/or customers to assist with directions and provide information as needed.
• Complete required documentation, such as incident reports and daily activity logs, accurately and promptly.
• Work collaboratively with store management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related issues as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
