As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver - Aero/Defense in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or security-related violations.
  • Maintain detailed logs and incident reports to document daily activities and any unusual occurrences while on patrol.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to support security-related objectives for the location.
  • Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols as directed by Allied Universal and location management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Applicants must have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of experience as a security-related supervisor or manager or 3 years of security-related experience.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
