As a Security Officer - Dispatch Driver Financial Institution in Rosemont, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will be based at a prominent financial institution, helping to monitor and coordinate security-related activities throughout the location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. This role requires driving in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and manage incoming calls, alarms, and radio communications at the location, dispatching appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all incidents, communications, and security-related activities in the dispatch center.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site staff and emergency responders as appropriate.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity within the financial institution setting.
  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by addressing inquiries and assisting with security-related information.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with Allied Universal team members, client representatives, and external agencies as required during emergency response activities.
  • Remain alert and attentive to all security-related communications and activities, adapting to changing conditions and priorities at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
