As a Security Guard - Healthcare Facility Patrol Driver in Syracuse, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help foster a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and promote peace of mind throughout the location. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in the state where you work. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain an orderly environment within the healthcare location.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and security-related concerns according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and general information as needed.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel during incidents as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
