As a Security Professional - CRE Patrol Driving Role in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the property, primarily by vehicle, to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a visible presence. Your role will involve interacting with guests and tenants, addressing their concerns, and providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You'll be part of a team that values reliability, integrity, and innovation, working together to create a welcoming environment for everyone on site.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and around its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and to observe for unusual circumstances.
  • Keep detailed records and write incident reports as necessary to document observations and actions taken during patrols.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters at the location.
  • Assist with enforcing access control procedures and monitoring entry and exit points within the property.
  • Remain alert to potential hazards and/or suspicious activity during patrols and report findings according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
