As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Vernon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control professional in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial setting, where you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and contribute to a secure environment. Your presence helps maintain a professional atmosphere as you interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This role requires a valid driver's license and may involve driving responsibilities. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by communicating site-specific policies and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and protocols, adapting to the unique requirements of the manufacturing and industrial environment.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach, notifying Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols inside the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Document all activities, observations, and incidents using Allied Universal and client reporting systems, following established protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address issues and provide support during emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
