As a Security Officer - Access Control Chemical Full-Time in El Segundo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional in an access control role within a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activities.
• Verify identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors as part of access control procedures.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to chemical and petrochemical environments.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees and visitors with inquiries and directions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents.
• Document and report security-related activities, observations, and incidents according to company and client protocols.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including following established protocols for evacuations or hazardous material incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Primarily driving post is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
