As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Valhalla, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a dynamic food and beverage location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $18.25 - $19.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while following emergency response protocols as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations on location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, including areas related to food and beverage operations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities, concerns related to potential hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a visible security-related presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and/or access at the location.
  • Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as required by site policies.
  • Prepare detailed written reports and documentation related to security-related incidents, observations, and activities while on duty.
  • Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs and/or concerns specific to the food and beverage environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Experience with computers or tablets is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
