As a Airport Security Officer - Dispatcher in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, it's facilities, travelers, and ensure the safety and security of airport operations. you’ll be the communication hub of our aviation security operations. You’ll coordinate real-time responses, monitor systems, and dispatch officers to where they’re needed most.

Position Type: Part Time - Overnight 

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements 

• Valid Driver's License
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring
• Security Experience: 1+ years
• 21+ years of age
• Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
• NOTE: First two months in this position will be working various posts for best geography and familiarization on airport property

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting as needed.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious behaviors within the location.
• Work collaboratively with local authorities and/or emergency services when required.
• Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of daily activities and incidents as required by site procedures.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies, drills, and/or evacuations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Being at least 21 years of age is required.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
