Job Description


As a Security Guard - Chemical Plant Patrol in Sheboygan, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols and engage with staff and visitors to provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including the perimeter and chemical processing areas, to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor access points and observe the movement of individuals and vehicles entering or exiting the location.
  • Report security-related concerns, hazards, or unusual situations to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
  • Maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, and any other security-related activities according to company and client protocols.
  • Assist with enforcing site policies and procedures as directed, including those specifically related to chemical and/or petrochemical environments.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to help to promote a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
