As a Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol in South Bend, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and contribute to a secure environment. Your presence and routine patrols will help maintain order, while your customer service skills will create a welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the logistics and distribution location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, vehicles, and materials within the premises.
• Document and report any unusual activities, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel at Allied Universal.
• Support emergency response activities and work collaboratively with on-site staff during incidents.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
