As a Security Professional - Full-Time Patrol Tech Sector in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, support access control, and create a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide outstanding customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following all security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by conducting regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter, including both interior and exterior areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain awareness of the location and promptly report any suspicious persons, objects, or activities to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response activities as required, including assisting with evacuations or other critical operations according to site guidelines.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and security-related activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site contacts to address security-related needs specific to a technology and media environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A current guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
