Job Description


As a Security Professional - Telecom Site Patrol in Bellevue, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Remaining highly visible, you will interact with employees and visitors, help to maintain a secure environment, and respond to situations with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing Allied Universal protocols and training.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor access points and observe for unusual or unauthorized activities within the location.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and irregularities according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors to provide assistance and direction as needed.
  • Participate in site-specific training and follow instructions from Allied Universal management and site supervisors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
