As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Financial in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution, including the building and perimeter areas, to help to deter suspicious activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter potential threats within the location.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and any unusual activities encountered during patrols.
• Maintain continuous communication with Allied Universal management and/or local law enforcement as needed for escalation of incidents.
• Uphold professional conduct and appearance while representing Allied Universal at the location.
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications for armed security-related responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
