As a Security Officer - Distribution Center - Full Time in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated areas. What You'll Do:

• Perform security-related screening of individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Follow established procedures and site-specific policies to support a secure environment within the facility.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and staff with questions and directions related to site access and protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner following Allied Universal's guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with team members, site staff, and/or visitors as needed in the course of daily duties.
• Assist with maintaining logs and documentation related to screening activities and site access.
• Remain alert to potential security-related risks and report any suspicious activity or concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• It is preferred that applicants are comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
