As a Security Professional - Distribution Site Patrol - Full Time in Mesquite, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a secure environment at a busy logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and interacting with visitors and staff to provide outstanding customer service. You will utilize technology such as computers or tablets to assist with your duties, contributing to a positive and professional atmosphere. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Screen individuals and/or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution facility to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points, verifying credentials and/or identification as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and delivery personnel while performing screening duties.
• Document and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or policy violations encountered during screening.
• Assist with regular and random patrols around designated screening areas and the perimeter as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
