Job Description


As a Security Professional - Patrol CRE Unarmed in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong, visible presence. Your commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication helps foster a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the location.
  • Report observed irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons, to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel or site contact.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter potential disturbances and promote a secure environment for tenants, visitors, and staff.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff, providing information and assistance as needed.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as per Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
