As a Security Officer - Armed Hospital Patrols in Murrells Inlet, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic healthcare location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and communication to all individuals on site. Armed responsibilities are an essential aspect of this role. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas within the healthcare location.
• Communicate and collaborate with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed to support a secure environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 2 or more years of law enforcement or military police or corrections experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possessing an armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
