As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver - Full Time in Delphi, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents and foster a sense of reassurance for everyone on site. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as outlined by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the location's operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues, with attention to areas relevant to food and beverage operations.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as unusual activity or potential hazards, to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by company protocols and client-specific requirements.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter inappropriate activity and provide a sense of security-related assurance for employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
