As a Security Officer - Chemical Patrol Unarmed in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for all personnel. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the chemical or petrochemical facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential concerns.
• Monitor for and report any unusual activity, hazards, or conditions in the location according to site protocols.
• Assist in controlling access to restricted areas by verifying credentials and observing entry points.
• Participate in site-specific training and emergency drills as required for the location.
• Document and escalate security-related incidents and observations in accordance with client and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
