As a Security Officer - Petrochemical Patrols PT in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the operations at chemical or petrochemical locations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify any unusual conditions.
  • Observe and report on potential hazards or suspicious activities, maintaining awareness of the unique environmental and operational characteristics of chemical or petrochemical locations.
  • Support access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to uphold high standards of customer service and security-related operations.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
