As a Security Officer - Chemical Patrol Full-Time in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support site protocols.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access within a chemical and petrochemical environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by verifying identification and credentials of personnel and visitors, according to site requirements.
• Collaborate with site staff and/or emergency services during incidents and follow established procedures.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, observations, and incident reports as directed by Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
