As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This role involves routine patrols, including bike patrols, and requires both armed and driving responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Conduct regular and random patrols inside and around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and/or unauthorized access and report any concerns according to company protocols.
• Maintain awareness of the surroundings and interact with staff, visitors, and customers to support a welcoming environment.
• Complete incident reports and document observations as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as directed during incident response.
• Support loss prevention efforts by observing activity and reporting potential issues in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.
• Applicants must be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
