Job Description


As a Security Professional - Distribution Center Patrol Driver in Wilmington, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional at this logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong, visible presence. You will interact regularly with team members and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor the premises for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to site procedures.
  • Assist with access control for employees, visitors, and vehicles entering and leaving the location.
  • Document all activity and incidents as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
