What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, guests, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible security-related presence.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate actions as required.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the retail location to help to deter theft or other security-related concerns.
• Assist with emergency response activities and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency personnel when needed.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and daily activities according to company and client protocols.
• Maintain awareness of all site-specific policies and procedures and uphold the professional standards of Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

• An Armed Guard Card or License is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas only.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
