Job Description


As a Security Professional - Chemical Plant in Verona, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a chemical and petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will be responsible for conducting routine patrols while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone at the site. Pay Rate: $20.65 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the chemical or petrochemical environment.
  • Monitor access points and verify identification of individuals entering or exiting the location.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or staff while performing assigned duties.
  • Complete incident reports and other documentation as required by Allied Universal and the location's protocols.
  • Support the enforcement of company policies and/or regulatory requirements as instructed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
