As a Security Professional - Unarmed Post in Verona, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated chemical and petrochemical locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role includes conducting regular patrols, engaging with staff and visitors to provide outstanding customer service, and promptly communicating any concerns. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by implementing security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or breaches.
  • Monitor the grounds of the chemical or petrochemical location for unusual activity and promptly report findings to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to address concerns related to access control and/or emergency preparedness.
  • Document observations and incidents in detailed reports according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
