As a Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and attention to detail. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately during emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the retail premises.
• Maintain visibility throughout the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behaviors.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with store staff, customers, and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete routine documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Primarily driving post experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
