As a Security Professional - Flex Dispatch CRE in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations by monitoring alarms, managing access control, and coordinating communication among team members. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor and coordinate all incoming and outgoing communications and personnel movements from the dispatch post at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and accurately relay information to the appropriate parties.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of all communications, incidents, and activities handled at the dispatch post.
  • Utilize communication systems to dispatch security personnel as needed and support allied staff in the field.
  • Assist with controlling access to the location by issuing instructions or information to visitors, tenants, and vendors as required.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members to help to deter unauthorized activities or breaches within the commercial property.
  • Support regular and random patrol operations by maintaining constant communication with patrol officers and tracking their locations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
