As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver Government in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a valued member of our team, where you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service at a government location. In this armed and driving post, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain visibility throughout the premises, and respond promptly to incidents. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual, suspicious, or prohibited behavior, and report observations as required by site protocols.
  • Support access control measures, verifying credentials and helping to maintain authorized entry to restricted areas.
  • Interact with visitors, staff, and/or personnel in a professional and courteous manner, providing assistance as needed.
  • Maintain awareness of site-specific procedures and protocols relevant to a government environment.
  • Complete incident and activity reports in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Follow directives regarding the use of force and handling of weapons in accordance with training and company policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
