As a Security Officer - Armed Site Patrol in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment to address and resolve issues as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the transportation facility and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access or actions.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter potential disturbances and/or criminal activity.
  • Monitor and report on the condition of access points, vehicles, and property, noting any irregularities or maintenance needs.
  • Communicate professionally and clearly with team members, staff, and local authorities as required.
  • Complete detailed and accurate incident and activity reports documenting all relevant information during shifts.
  • Follow all company protocols and client instructions while carrying out assigned responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
  • Level III Armed Certification in Texas is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
