As a Security Officer - Access Control Specialist in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and supporting a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the facility, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and a helpful attitude. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and identify irregularities.
• Assist visitors, contractors, and employees with access protocols and general inquiries.
• Document and report security-related incidents or unusual activities according to Allied Universal and site guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
