As a Security Officer - Media Patrol Driver in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations within a dynamic tech and media environment. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, and you will use your agility and reliability to support access control, alarm response, and badge operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the technology and media facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report any incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas within the tech, media, or telecom environment.
• Remain visible and approachable while on patrol to assist employees, visitors, and contractors with questions and directions.
• Participate in ongoing training and drills specific to the unique needs of a technology, media, or telecom location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
