As a Security Officer - Unarmed Government Patrol in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with the community, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following proper protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities within the location.
• Assist with controlling access to the premises and verifying credentials as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Follow all instructions and guidelines provided for the government facility to support overall property security-related needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
