As a Security Officer - Chemical Patrol Driver in Elizabethtown, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by executing security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with duties tailored to a chemical and petrochemical environment.
  • Observe and report activities or incidents to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when necessary.
  • Follow all established protocols for access control, visitor management, and property protection relevant to a chemical and petrochemical location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
