Job Description


As a Security Officer - Chemical Dispatch Patrol Driver in Carrollton, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities to help maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain high visibility to help deter security incidents, and communicate clearly with team members and visitors. In this driving post, you will operate company vehicles as needed. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and coordinate communications for incidents and/or emergencies within the chemical and petrochemical location, following established protocols.
  • Dispatch security-related personnel to respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance on site.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all dispatched activities, communications, and security-related incidents.
  • Liaise with site personnel, emergency services, and Allied Universal management as needed to facilitate timely responses.
  • Provide customer service by relaying clear information and instructions to site staff and visitors in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Support response efforts during critical situations by maintaining composure and prioritizing calls for assistance.
  • Assist with the implementation of site security-related procedures and protocols specific to the chemical and petrochemical environment.
  • Regularly test and operate communication and alarm systems to confirm proper functioning.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
