As a Security Officer - Residential Access Control in South Pasadena, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for a residential community. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances and exits, conducting routine patrols throughout the property, and remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will engage with residents and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Assist residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures and enforcing site-specific policies at the residential location.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries, offering directions, and responding to resident and visitor needs in a professional manner.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a visible presence.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
• Collaborate with property management and local authorities when appropriate for security-related matters.
• Participate in emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations and other site-specific procedures as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
