As a Security Officer - Transportation Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a transportation-related location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring designated areas, driving as required, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the transportation facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Observe and report any suspicious, unsafe, or criminal activity encountered during patrols to the appropriate authorities and Allied Universal management.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help control access and protect property.
  • Assist with enforcing site-specific rules and regulations as directed by client representatives and Allied Universal policies.
  • Complete required logs and reports accurately and in a timely manner related to patrols, incidents, and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
