As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Commercial in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting visible patrols throughout a commercial real estate location. Your presence and attention to detail support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will operate a company or client vehicle as part of your patrol responsibilities. You will engage with the public, provide outstanding customer service, and use technology to report observations and incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter, observing for any irregularities or concerns.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activity and report any suspicious behavior or incidents as observed during patrols.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management regarding any incidents, procedures, or updates relevant to the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
