As a Security Officer - CRE Alarm Panel Patrol in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the property, provide excellent customer service, and use your communication skills to assist visitors and tenants. This role offers the chance to interact with a variety of people and contribute to a positive environment, all while upholding the core values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter of the commercial real estate location to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and to observe any unusual activity.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate and collaborate with property management and/or building staff as needed to address security-related concerns.
• Remain visible and approachable to provide assistance to tenants, visitors, and employees as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
