As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a government setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment for all onsite. By conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence, you will play a vital role in assisting with security-related issues and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
  • Assist in responding to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and address any security-related concerns.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to assist with helping to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with location staff and emergency personnel as needed during incidents and unusual situations.
  • Support a welcoming environment for all individuals at the location while upholding site-specific security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
