Job Description


As a Security Professional - Telecom Patrol Driver in Augusta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols throughout a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment. Your presence will be vital in assisting with access control, providing customer service, and supporting a secure atmosphere for employees and visitors. This is a driving post, where you will be responsible for monitoring designated areas and responding to situations as needed. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills during incidents and critical situations at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or access.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, property damage, or suspicious persons, according to company and location protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors, offering assistance and guiding them as needed.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local authorities during incidents or emergencies as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Experience with computers or tablets is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
