What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry to the facility.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location in accordance with established access control procedures.
• Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting employees, visitors, and/or contractors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols within the business and surrounding perimeter to observe for any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Document all activities, incidents, and/or irregularities in daily logs or reports as required by Allied Universal and client policies.
• Assist in implementing site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters.
• Support emergency response efforts as directed, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
