As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a prominent cultural institution, supporting a secure environment for visitors and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, assisting with badge and access control, responding to alarms, and providing exceptional customer service while using technology such as computers or tablets. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and providing authorized entry to visitors, staff, and vendors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and/or concerns from visitors and staff in a professional manner.
• Implement security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies relevant to cultural institution environments.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any security-related concerns.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, access logs, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, collaborating with site personnel and first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
