As a Security Officer - Flex - Armed Financial Patrol in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate judgment and communication skills.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and observe for unusual behavior or situations.
  • Maintain awareness of the environment within financial institution premises, reporting suspicious activity and/or hazards to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and logs as required by site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or customers, providing assistance or direction as needed within the scope of assigned duties.
  • Follow all relevant protocols and procedures specific to the financial institution environment, including those related to access control, emergency response, and armed post responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An Armed Guard Card or License is required.
  • Level III Armed Certification is required for Texas roles.
  • A Guard Card or License is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
