As a Security Officer Flex Patrol Driver in Middletown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a dynamic tech and media location. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with visitors and employees. This is a driving position, and you will be responsible for both foot and vehicle patrols. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the technology and telecommunications location, including both the business interior and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
  • Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide support to staff and visitors.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or maintenance issues encountered during patrols according to site guidelines.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment for all occupants.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
