As a Security Officer - Flex - Armed Financial Site in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor for and report any security-related concerns or irregularities within the financial institution environment.
  • Interact with employees, visitors, and/or clients to provide assistance and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Assist with access control measures, verifying credentials, and monitoring entrances and exits as required for an armed post.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate records and detailed reports of security-related activities, incidents, and observations encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas roles only.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possession of a state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Possession of an Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
