As a Security Guard - Unarmed Healthcare Patrol Driver in Fishersville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, where you'll monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming environment. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible throughout the facility, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards in and around the healthcare location.
• Communicate and collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel, site staff, and local authorities as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site policy.
• Assist with access control processes, monitoring entry and exit points, and verifying identification as needed.
• Support the enforcement of facility rules, regulations, and policies to help maintain order within the healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
