As a Security Officer - CRE Patrol Driver PT in South Plainfield, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will actively monitor and patrol the premises to help deter security-related incidents and contribute to a welcoming environment. This is a driving post, where you will navigate the property as part of your routine patrols. You will remain visible to help address concerns, assist tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with team members. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies relevant to commercial real estate locations, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for tenants and visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, maintenance issues, or hazards encountered during patrols, keeping detailed records as required by Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff, assisting with directions and general inquiries to promote a positive experience at the location.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and property management to address security-related needs and support emergency response activities as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Primarily driving post is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
